Two valleys Marrakech
At 3200km altitude, the Oukaimden is the highest ski resort in Africa, its proximity to Marrakech allows it to be visited by a large number of tourists especially mountain sports enthusiasts. In winter the snow is abundant from December to April, the ski area extends on a plateau of a surface of 300Ha, its tracks are open to all levels.
To go from Marrakech to Oukaimeden, the path passes through the valley of the Ourika, a river that takes its source in the High Atlas. No need to plan, you have to take the direction of the south and make sure to keep the mountain range in front of you. The road goes up gradually, the valley becomes more and more cashed. We finally arrive at Seti-Fatma, at 1500 meters of altitude, starting point of many excursions. One of the paths leads in particular to the discovery of the seven waterfalls of Ourika.
